Shri Atul Srivastava has been appointed Nominee Director, State Bank of India on the Board of the Company w.e.f 9th October 2025. He is a multi-disciplinary banking professional with a distinguished career at the State Bank of India (SBI), marked by strategic leadership and impactful contributions to policy formulation and operational excellence.

Currently serving as Chief General Manager, Associates & Subsidiaries, Shri Atul oversees 18 domestic non-banking subsidiaries and 9 SBI-sponsored Regional Rural Banks, ensuring alignment with SBI’s strategic objectives.

His previous roles include Secretary to the Central Board, Executive Secretary to the Managing Director of SBI, Regional and Module Head, and Deputy General Manager (HR) of the International Banking Group. These positions have provided him with a holistic perspective across credit, forex, general banking operations, and human resources. This blend of responsibilities has equipped him with deep operational insight, governance experience, and the ability to align diverse business units with the Bank’s comprehensive strategic objectives.

Shri Atul holds an M.Sc. in Physics, complemented by an array of prestigious certifications: Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers (IIBF), Certified Professional in IT & Cyber Security from Ernst & Young LLP, Certificate in Commercial Credit from Moody’s, Certificate Programme in Compliance, and AMFI and SP Certifications. To further his leadership acumen, he has completed the Transformation and Digital Leadership Programme at IIM Bangalore and ISB Mohali.
